Software Developer / Programmer Analyst
Job Description
If you are the successful candidate for the Programmer Analyst position, you will design, code, test, debug,
and document features across all SmarterTools software product lines in a truly collaborative environment.
You will have the opportunity to work with a team and individually to identify product development goals and
review development progress. As a team member you will contribute to our company goal: building the best
software in our marketplace. You will participate in preparing specifications and user requirements.
Skills / Requirements
The ideal candidate should posses the following:
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Visual Studio, C++, Web/Windows application/service development
- Knowledge of C# is beneficial
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented principles
- Some knowledge of Javascript, XML, SQL and DNS a plus
- Strong knowledge of the Windows OS (Windows 2003 Server, IIS6, XP Professional)
- Must be an individual who prefers working in a team environment and who can demonstrate excellent team working attributes
- Must be able to work collaboratively and to develop effective working relationships within the organization
- Must have a flexible approach and enjoy working in a rapidly changing a growing organization
- The successful candidate must currently possess the eligibility to work in the United States
- A background check will be required

Job Description
Great Technical Support and Customer Service are important methods we use to deliver value to our Customers and
Partners. If you are the successful candidate for the Technical Support position, you will provide technical
solutions for the SmarterTools software product line via phone and email in a courteous, efficient, and professional
manner. You will have the opportunity to work independently on individual tasks and as a team member to contribute
to our company goals: building the best software and delivering the best support in our marketplace.
Skills / Requirements
The ideal candidate should posses the following:
- Prior technical phone and email support experience
- Some Windows 2000/2003 server administration knowledge
- Knowledge of mail servers
- Basic Networking experience
- Basic knowledge of IIS and DNS a plus
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Must possess excellent customer service and problem solving skills
- Exceptional work ethics, punctuality, and reliability
- The successful candidate must currently possess the eligibility to work in the United States
- A background check will be required
