SmarterMail's installation process installs the core files it needs and verifies that the server meets the minimum requirements for it to run. That means it will automatically install any missing pieces for you or update frameworks as needed. Configuring IIS by creating a new app pool and standalone website is also part of the process.
SSL/TLS Management
SmarterMail makes SSL/TLS management a breeze, enabling Server Name Indication (SNI) and ensuring secured connections are made to the correct mail domains. Using the ACME protocol, SmarterMail can automate SSL certificate issuance and renewal via Let's Encrypt, or server administrators can upload their own certificates as needed.
