Using those principles -- creating powerful software that is easy to use and even easier to manage -- we have grown into a leading provider of business software for tens of thousands of small to medium-sized businesses, enterprise organizations and hosting companies in the U.S. and around the world.

SmarterTools users number well over 15 million and we have a strong global network of channel partners. In addition, by targeting various small and enterprise-level businesses, web hosts and service providers, our install base has grown to include customers in more than 120 countries and our products support over 60 different languages. Our industry-leading focus and commitment continue to evolve so that we can more fully assist customers around the world.
Our Development Philosophy
We are an Agile + Scrum shop. This encourages teamwork and ensures we align our development with both company goals and customer needs.
We follow industry standards regarding secure coding (e.g., no hard coded passwords, extensive use of SSL, use of strong, randomized session tokens, etc.) In addition, our development and testing environments are logically separated from production environments. All code changes go through a thorough code review by senior developers before being handed to the QA/QC department. Code is branched by developer and only merged into a production release after being fully reviewed and tested.
